The Arizona Department of Health Services reported 25 new coronavirus cases in the Litchfield Park 85340 ZIP code over the week ending Friday, June 25, nine more than the 16 new weekly cases reported last Friday.
That brings the overall tally of cases in the 85340 ZIP code to 4,021.
The ZIP code includes the city of Litchfield Park and unincorporated Maricopa County. The state does not separate cases by incorporated and unincorporated areas.
The agency said more than 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient’s residence:

As of June 22, Maricopa County health officials reported that 45% of all county residents and 52% of county residents 10 and older had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the website, 3,693,421 vaccine doses had been administered to Maricopa County residents. Of those, 1,890,250 were first dose, 1,772,522 were second dose and 30,649 were unknown.
In Litchfield Park 85340, 58.1% of the eligible population had received their first dose and 51.6% had received their second dose.
