Roger, 79, of Sun City, Arizona, born December 19, 1941, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away February 5, 2021, and is under the care of Sunland Memorial Park in Sun City.
Roger is survived by his new bride, Carole Olewinski; son, Jeffrey (MaryBeth) Olewinski; daughter, Cindy (Paul) Nunn; grandchildren: Michael (Esther) Olewinski, TJ (Emily) Thompson, Steven (Brittney) Fox, Vincent (Susie) Nunn, Tiffany Thompson, Patrick Nunn, Zachary Fox, Brian Olewinski, Logan Nunn; many great-grandchildren; and his beloved companion and pet, Bridget.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Dorothy Olewinski and his wife of 58 years, Nancy Olewinski.
Roger had a long and distinguished 30-year career with IBM, retired to Arizona where he started a second career of service and taking care of others with the Food Bank of Prescott Valley and managed a child abuse center, Parents Anonymous.
Roger had a wonderful sense of humor, loved life and could always be found laughing. He looked forward to spending time with his family and starting his new life with Carole.
Roger’s hobbies included collecting Dicken’s Village, writing poetry, dancing, and he was the Green Bay Packers #1 fan!
Roger will be forever loved and remembered.
