Pita Jungle’s mobile kitchen sets up shop in Litchfield Park

Posted

Southwest Valley pita fans rejoice. Local restaurant Pita Jungle is camped out on the corner of Camelback and Litchfield roads this week offering Mediterranian-inspired fare from its 20-foot food truck.

The mobile kitchen will be parked at 4900 N. Litchfield Road from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day this week ending on Jan 21, the company announced.

Pita Jungle is a Tempe-based fast-casual restaurant chain that bills itself as a healthier alternative to traditional fast food.

Salads, wraps and bowls are the restaurant’s standard fare, with options for vegetarians and meat lovers alike. The mobile menu is truncated but still offers a selection of options. Access the food truck menu here.

The restaurant's closest location to Litchfield Park is about 10 miles away at the Park West shopping center in Peoria.

Pita Jungle launched its first food truck in February 2021 as a response to market changes caused by the pandemic. Its co-founder told media outlets at the time that it hopes to someday manage a fleet of food trucks serving customers across the Valley.
