Bobazona, 15591 W. Roosevelt St. Suite 110, is a family-owned shop that serves handcrafted boba drinks and scooping gelato.

“We are a young family that fell in love with boba over five years ago and we had a desire to start our own business. After hours of classes, we learned how to craft the perfect drink for whatever the occasion may be,” owners Becky and Youssef Bastawy said on their website. “We are a brand that is focused around providing a fun, aesthetic and chill environment for our customers, because that is the kind of people we are.”

For those not familiar with boba, it is small, gluten-free pearls of tapioca added to drinks.

At Bobazona, customers can choose from a variety of tea, milk, snow, slush or refresher base offerings, then add a flavor and boba or jelly to build their own unique drink, or they can choose from a variety of specialty drinks.

The store also offers more than 25 flavors of gelato served in the customer’s choice of bubble waffle, cup or waffle cone, with a variety of toppings and drizzles.

Sonic Drive-In, 85 N. Estrella Parkway, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in Centerra Crossings.
