The City of Litchfield Park will hold a public information meeting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7 to discuss the final results of the Southwest Valley Camelback Road Truck Study, conducted by the Maricopa Association of Governments alongside findings from an independent traffic study by Exponent.
The meeting will take place at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, located at 400 S. Old Litchfield Road.
Residents, visitors, and local business representatives are encouraged to attend and participate in the discussion.
The agenda will feature a review of the city's truck restrictions and ordinances, details about the annexation of Camelback Road within city limits, and updates on relevant legislation. Additionally, attendees will hear summaries from previous public meetings, including one held in December 2022, as well as presentations from Maricopa Association of Governments and Exponent.
The meeting will also provide an opportunity for community members to share their comments and concerns. City Manager Matthew Williams will address ongoing efforts to mitigate noise and pollution related to truck traffic in the area.
