Litchfield Park starts road construction

Road construction starts in Litchfield Park; the project is expected to restrict traffic until December.

Construction started on Sept. 24 on the Dysart and Indian School roads intersection project in Litchfield Park.
The project will involve a complete pavement overhaul and the subgrade replacement in the northeastern quadrant of the intersection. This project includes replacing worn-out pavement and enhancing curb, gutter, driveways, pedestrian ramps, and turn lanes with new concrete.
Expected to extend into December, the construction will lead to ongoing traffic control measures and restrictions on access to driveways throughout the duration of the project. These restrictions will vary based on the contractor's schedule.
