The Litchfield Park Historical Society Museum is hosting a community event to celebrate the retirement of two exhibits, "The Wigwam: From Necessity to Luxury," and "Paul Litchfield's Rancho La Loma."
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the historic hilltop property of Rancho La Loma 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at 13912 West Camelback Road in Litchfield Parkand witness the evolution of The Wigwam, from its origins as a bunkhouse to its status as a historic hotel
The farewell event will feature trivia related to the exhibits, with a chance to win a $100 dinner voucher for Litchfield's at The Wigwam.
Attendees can participate in a raffle for exclusive gift shop items and enjoy complimentary refreshments.
The Litchfield Park Historical Society, which operates the museum, was established to preserve and promote the history of Litchfield Park and its surrounding areas.
Founded by community members committed to safeguarding local heritage, the society educates residents and visitors about the region’s historical significance through various programs, events, and exhibits.
