Litchfield Park museum hosts kids' photography workshop

The PW Litchfield Heritage Center is hosting a  "Photography Fun Kids Workshop"  at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 29. This hands-on event will allow children to learn the basics of photography in an interactive environment.

Chuck Emmert, a local photographer and freelance videographer, will lead the workshop, teaching kids how to take impactful photos and explore storytelling through images. Participants will also have the chance to print and take home their photos. Emmert brings years of experience working with the City of Phoenix, Arizona Game and Fish, and KPNX-TV and will share his expertise in photo composition and visual storytelling.

The workshop is designed to help children understand the role of photography in documenting history and creating meaningful visuals. The PW Litchfield Heritage Center, located at 13912 W. Camelback Rd., is known for its programs and exhibits focused on the history, arts, and culture of the Southwest Valley.

The cost is $7 per child, and registration is required due to limited space. Parents are encouraged to register early.
