Litchfield Park hosts annual art and wine festival

Posted

The Litchfield Park Spring Art and Wine Festival will be held March 1-2, in Litchfield Park.

Presented by the City of Litchfield Park, the free festival will take place along Old Litchfield Road and Wigwam Boulevard.

From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days, the festival will feature more than 100 art booths with works from artists and artisans across the country.

Attendees can also visit a beer and wine garden offering tastings from Arizona wineries and local breweries. Proceeds from the garden will support youth sports and recreation programs in Litchfield Park.

Live music performances will take place throughout the weekend, and a variety of food vendors will be available. The event is open to all ages and is dog friendly.

Free public parking is available at several locations, including the gravel lot east of City Hall, the Litchfield Park Library, and the Litchfield Park Recreation Center, with overflow parking at Litchfield Elementary School. Handicap parking is available at each location.

The beer and wine garden opens at 10 a.m., and tasting packages are available for those 21 and older. Non-drinkers and designated drivers may enter without charge.

The festival, palm trees and spring weather are expected to attract both local residents and visitors.
