The City of Litchfield Park is accepting applications from nonprofit organizations seeking funding for programs or services that benefit the city and its residents.
Municipal funding for nonprofits helps address community needs, enhance public services and create cost-effective partnerships. Nonprofits often provide social services, education and cultural programs that cities may not have the resources to manage directly. By supporting these organizations, Litchfield Park aims to strengthen public-private partnerships and invest in initiatives that improve residents’ quality of life.
Applications are available online or can be picked up at City Hall, 214 W. Wigwam Blvd., on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Completed applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 4.
The Litchfield Park City Council will review applications and determine funding based on factors such as community benefits, need, service area and the organization’s track record.
Nonprofits must submit financial documents, including an auditor’s report, tax filings or financial statements, depending on their budget size. New applicants must provide proof of IRS tax-exempt status.
