Litchfield Heritage Center to host cowboy-themed education event

The P.W. Litchfield Heritage Center will celebrate the cowboy legacy of the Southwest Valley with Discovery Days: Home on the Range, a free, family-friendly event featuring interactive activities, games, and educational presentations.

The cowboy-themed event will be held on Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Wednesday, March 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the museum, located at 13912 W. Camelback Rd. in Litchfield Park.

Throughout the day, visitors can participate in crafts, games, and tactile displays, as well as a desert critters learning station on March 22. Special performances of Songs and Tales of the Trails with Ms. Sue and Ms. Jane will take place at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on March 22 and at 2 p.m. on March 26.

Discovery Days is a monthly program exploring local history through art and science. The P.W. Litchfield Heritage Center is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history, arts, and culture of the Southwest Valley.
