Judy Conti Keim Moreno

Posted

Judy passed away suddenly June 18th. She was 70.
Judy was born in Jackson, Mississippi, and grew up in New Orleans. She finished high school in Pittsburgh, PA, and earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She met her first husband, Bob, in college. They moved to Florida in 1974, then to Arizona in 1979, where she lived the rest of her life. She met her current husband, Mark, over a Diet Coke while both worked as realtors. They married in 2008. The couple enjoyed motorcycle rides, listening to live music, and traveling around Arizona. Judy was a self-described naturalist. She loved getting outdoors, studying rocks, and exploring Arizona’s museums and natural history. Her love of rocks extended to jewelry-making. Judy cared deeply about children’s welfare. She had a degree in teaching and was a proud, dedicated grandma. Survivors include her husband, Mark Moreno; daughters, Amanda (Paul) Keim-Morrison and Valerie Keim; grandchildren, Eleanor Morrison, and a grandson due in November; sisters, Charlotte (Jean) Seidenberg and Dorothy Ann Morcos; five nieces and nephews; two stepsons; and seven step-grandchildren. Judy was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy Irwin and Joseph Conti; sister, Barbara Blumstein; ex-husband, Robert Keim; and a niece. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Superstition Mountain Lost Dutchman Museum or the Community Alliance Against Family Abuse.
