Southwest Valley Chamber and Leadership West have partnered to host a virtual information session with city of Goodyear representatives who will discuss the March 9 special election on proposed changes to the city’s charter.

Southwest Valley Chamber and Leadership West have partnered to host a virtual information session with city of Goodyear representatives who will discuss the March 9 special election on proposed changes to the city’s charter.

The session, which will run from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, is open to the public.

Advance registration is required. To register, visit southwestvalleychamber.org and click on Calendar & Events.

READ: Council Oks special election on city charter

During the session, City Clerk Darie McCracken and Jenna Goad, assistant to the city manager, will present a history of the charter, the process to amend it, what changes are being proposed and how Goodyear residents can participate in the election.

They also will answer questions from attendees.
