Well, “Hee Haw!” has finally come to the U.S. Supreme Court. Those self-appointed, sidewalk authorities have decided that women are no longer competent to decide their own health issues.
What’s next in American advancements waiting in line at the Supreme Court’s Guillotine of Human Rights? Same sex marriage? Interracial marriage?
Women voting? The Civil Rights Act of 1964? Segregated schools, then neighborhoods? Round up all the Asians and lock ‘em up in concentration camps again? The repeal of slavery? The post-mortem impeachment of Abraham Lincoln for ending slavery?
Meanwhile, the gun issue keeps heading straight down the toilet.
Several years ago this same gaggle of nincompoops held the AK-47 was considered valid for personal protection within the meaning of the Second Amendment. With thinking like that, the sane half of America remains doomed. Raising the gun age from 18 to 21 is like saying kids can’t buy cigarettes after 3 p.m. It’s laughable.
More and more I’m disappointed in Biden. More and more I’m afraid of Trump. He keeps calling himself president. More and more some voters of America thinks he still is. More and more he’s gaining new traction, despite the increasing revelation of new laws he’s broken, that keep washing up like angry sting rays on the warm, sunny beaches of social justice.
Even if Trump died tomorrow, the damage he’s accomplished during his short attack on America is beyond the point of undoing.
Our factory of popular presidents has been out of stock since they stopped building Reagans. We’ve had nothing but Yugos, Vegas, Edsels, Corvairs, Dales and DeLoreans and they aren’t sustaining this increasingly foundering country, which keeps listing to the starboard side on its eventual way to the bottom.
Where will we be living 50 years from now, back in our caves wearing loincloths and eating raw bear fat?
