Green beer has been a St. Patrick’s Day tradition in the United States for more than a century. The earliest known reference dates back to 1914, when a New York City coroner reportedly dyed beer green for a celebration. The practice has since become a staple at bars and restaurants nationwide.
Located at 15605 W. Roosevelt St. in Goodyear, Augie’s Sports Grill features multiple large screens for sports viewing and regularly hosts trivia nights, music bingo, and "Name That Tune" events. It also airs games from major sports networks, including the Big Ten, SEC, ACC, UFC, and NFL Sunday Ticket.
