Goodyear, Litchfield Park announce New Year’s closures

Friday trash, recyling pickup moved to Saturday

The cities of Goodyear and Litchfield Park will observe News Year’s holiday hours this week.

Goodyear City Hall and other offices will be closed New Year’s Day, Friday, Jan. 1, and will reopen Monday, Jan. 4.

There will be no trash or recycling pickup on the holiday. Goodyear residents who are on Right Away Disposal’s Friday pickup schedule should place their containers at curbside by 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2.

Litchfield Park City Hall administrative offices, Magistrate Court and Recreation Center will close at 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, and will be closed Friday, Jan. 1, New Year’s Day. They will reopen at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 4.

There will be no trash or recycling pickup Friday; residents who are on Waste Management’s Friday pickup schedule should place their containers at curbside by 6 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2.
