The Georgia T. Lord Library will host a STEM event on Monday, March 17 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at 900 N Civic Square in Goodyear, featuring an interactive chemistry program presented by the Arizona Science Center.

Participants will investigate the properties of solids, liquids, and gases and observe color-changing reactions when different substances are combined.

The event is designed for children ages 9 and up, and registration is required for each participant. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Goodyear Library, a nonprofit organization that supports the library through fundraising and advocacy efforts.

The Arizona Science Center operates the Science on Wheels program, bringing STEM-focused educational experiences to schools and libraries. The program provides interactive demonstrations and workshops aligned with Arizona college and career readiness standards and next generation science standards.
