Voters in Goodyear, Avondale, Buckeye and Litchfield Park will have a chance to hear from each of the four candidates running for three open seats on the Litchfield Elementary School District Governing Board in November during a virtual forum at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 24.
Incumbents Danielle Clymer and Melissa Zuidema, and newcomers August Jeremy Hoenack and Ryan Risselman have been invited to answer questions from the public during the LESD Educational Foundation forum moderated by foundation President Kathryn Prusinski and Secretary Mary Cavanaugh-Marsh.
The forum will be streamed live at youtube.com/user/LESD79. Questions may be submitted in advance by emailing info@lesdfoundation.org.
Ms. Clymer is a marketing consultant from Goodyear and Ms. Zuidema is a business owner from Litchfield Park.
Mr. Hoenack is a Buckeye inventor and property manager who is retired from the motion picture industry, and Mr. Risselman, a write-in candidate, is an electrical estimator from Goodyear.
LESD operates 11 elementary schools and five middle schools serving 12,000 preschool through eighth-grade students in Avondale, Buckeye, Goodyear and Litchfield Park.
