Birdean, 102, passed away December 29, 2020 in Sun City West, AZ. She was born February 2, 1918 on the home farm close to Exeter, Nebraska to Christian Lorenz Jensen and Anna Clara (Johnson) Jensen. She moved to Exeter, NE in 1925 where she lived until she attended the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. Birdean married Gerald (Chris) L. Christoffersen March 21, 1942 at the Congregational Church in Exeter, NE. Gerald and Birdean were partners with Don and LaVelle Carlson at The Automatic Merchandising Company, a food vending machine business. Birdean was also involved in PEO, church activities and enjoyed art and traveling. Preceded in death by Husband Gerald L. Christoffersen AZ, Daughter, Suzanne J. Christoffersen CA, Brother, Delphin C. Jensen and Sister In-Law Elfrieda Jensen of rural Exeter, NE, Sister, LaVelle A. (Jensen) Carlson and Brother In-Law Don E. Carlson of Lincoln, NE, and Brother In-Law Arden N. Johnson of rural Exeter, Nebraska and is survived by Sister Eyvonne L. (Jensen) Johnson Exeter, NE and many nieces, nephews and their families. Internment at Desert Garden United Church of Christ, Sun City West, AZ.
