White Claw distribution center coming to Glendale

Mark Anthony Brewing has chosen Glendale as the location of its new state-of-the-art brewery and BrewPure facility, according to a release from the city.

Construction of the 916,000-square-foot facility is slated to finish in 7 months and will be in the city’s “New Frontier” along the Loop 303 corridor, a release states.

The race against time is to meet the explosive demand for White Claw Hard Seltzer, the release states.

“The primary reason we selected Glendale was the innovative thinking and personal support of Governor Doug Ducey, the city of Glendale, the Arizona Commerce Authority, and their willingness to embrace our vision and commit to the support required for our rapid build-out and aggressive timeline,” stated John Sacksteder, president of Mark Anthony Brewing. “Once complete, this new facility will be a beacon for the advanced manufacturing capabilities of the City of Glendale and the state of Arizona.”

Mark Anthony Brewing anticipates investing more than $250 million in the facility, including the BrewPure process which allows White Claw Hard Seltzer, Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Mike’s Harder Lemonade and Cayman Jack Cocktails to have their tastes.

In addition to the associated construction jobs, it is anticipated that there will be more than 200 full-time jobs at the facility when it’s up and running in June.

Another significant benefit this location presents, according to Mr. Sacksteder, is the opportunity for Mark Anthony Brewing to work alongside Merit Partners, Inc. and Layton Construction.

The addition of the advanced manufacturing facility to Glendale’s “New Frontier” builds on the existing buzz about the area with more announcements expected in the near future.
