Summer is approaching and Glendale is accepting applications for lifeguard and swim instructor positions at both Foothills Recreation and Aquatics Center, 5600 W. Union Hills Drive, and Rose Lane Aquatics Center, 5003 W. Marlette Ave.
Applicants will need to be able to work at either location as assigned. They will be hired on as City of Glendale Aquatics Staff, not at a specific pool.
Also, applicants must be available for the entire aquatics season, starting in early May and lasting through September. Some pools may also remain open during evening hours and on weekends.
The city’s aquatics positions require certifications before hiring.
Registration for training courses available here. To locate and register for available trainings, go to the filter section on the left side of the screen and enter “AQ” as the keyword to search.
