Veterans Day Ceremony coming to Glendale library

Posted

Glendale residents can come together Friday to honor veterans.

The city’s annual Veterans Day Ceremony takes place at 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11 at the Glendale Main Library, 5959 W. Brown St., outside at the veterans memorial.

Attendees are asked to bring their unserviceable U.S. flags to the event, so the flags can be properly retired.

For those who are not able to stay for the ceremony, flags may be dropped off between 7:30 and 9 a.m. on the north side of the library in the book drop drive thru.
