Upcoming golf tournament will support Glendale homeless family program

Posted

Registration is open for a golf tournament, “Mulligans for Families,” that will raise money to support the mission of Family Promise of Greater Phoenix, including its Glendale site.

Family Promise provides resources, time and love for families to stabilize after becoming homeless. The Emergency Shelter Program gives shelter, food and compassion through staff and a community of volunteers.

Uniquely, Family Promise supports the entire family through this process, including children, parents and even pets.

The nonprofit also helps families secure stable housing.

The Glendale site is located at 7115 N. 55th Ave.

Mulligans for Families will tee off at noon on Monday, Dec. 5 at Moon Valley Country Club, 151 W. Moon Valley Drive, Phoenix. Sponsorships are also available.

Click here to register, or contact tournament chair Mike Redivo at mredivo@valuesgrounded.com or 480-231-2663.

To volunteer at the Family Promise Glendale site, call volunteer coordinator Kristina Sharma at 480-659-5227.
