The Deer Valley High School AFROTC air rifle team conducted its first indoor practice of the new season Sept. 18 on campus in 18424 N. 51st Ave. in  Glendale.

Students in 9th through 12th grade are eligible to join the ROTC team. Those interested should contact Senior Aerospace Science Instructor Major Vaughan Whited at vaughan.whited@dvusd.org or 602-467-6952.
