Mustangs pull away for 42-20 state 5A final victory

There were no secrets entering the 5A final between Peoria district rivals, or among anyone who had watched both teams. Friday night, steady Sunrise Mountain wore out sometimes spectacular Ironwood.

The top-seeded Mustangs ran 49 times for 425 yards to beat #6 Ironwood (7-3) 42-20.
