Skyhawks cap best baseball season in 12 years

Beating a perennial baseball powerhouse like Mesquite in the first round, in Gilbert, was far too much to ask of Deer Valley - or most 4A programs.

Simply getting there was a huge step for the Skyhawks. To do so, this storied program from Glendale won its first postseason game in 12 years.
