Registration is now open for the city of Glendale’s Youth T-ball, Baseball and Softball leagues, and will remain open through Sunday, Jan. 16.

The season is traditionally held in the summer months, but this year begins the week of Monday, Feb. 21.

The programs emphasize physical fitness, equal participation and social and skill development.

Registration includes a team T-shirt, baseball cap and up to eight games. Fees are $55 for Glendale residents and $75 for non-residents.

Through a partnership with the Arizona Coyotes, each youth participant who registers before Sunday, Jan. 9 will receive one free ticket to the Monday, Jan. 17 game against the Montreal Canadiens. The matinee at Gila River Arena in Glendale that day begins at 2 p.m. Families will get a discount code to purchase additional tickets.

Contact Brad Giesbrecht at Bgiesbrecht@glendaleaz.com or at 623-930-4334 for more details.

The city also has opportunities for adult volunteer coaches, and will provide the training and support. Click here to submit an application through Monday, Jan. 24.

Practices begin the week of Feb. 7, and games begin the week of Feb. 21.

Call 623-930-4600 for more information.
