Glendale police continue to investigate after a woman and her daughter were killed in a collision.

Around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, April 5, Glendale police responded to the area of 55th Avenue and Bethany Home Road for a two-vehicle collision.

Police said a Ford Mustang was heading westbound on Bethany Home when it failed to stop at a traffic light. The vehicle then collided with a Honda minivan.

The occupants in the minivan were pronounced dead. Police identified them as Liliana Delgado, 39, and Rosemary Marin, 18.

The driver of the Mustang was taken to a local hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are still looking into whether or not speed or impairment were factors.
