Rage fans finally will get the reunion they’ve been waiting for.
Rage Against The Machine announced in early 2020 that they were reuniting for a worldwide headline tour after a nine-year hiatus. A 40-date tour, with shows scheduled at Gila River Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave., was then postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
But the band announced April 8 that dates have been rescheduled for 2022.
Rage will appear at Gila River Arena for two shows on April 4 and 6, following shows in El Paso and Las Cruces.
Rap duo Run the Jewels will join the band on the tour, including the Glendale dates.
“The Rage Against The Machine tour will now start in the spring of 2022,” the band said in a statement. “Your tickets will be honored for the postponed shows. Refunds are available at the original point of purchase for 30 days if you are unable to make it to the new date. We will see you next year.”
