What: Peoria Unified Support Staff Job Fair
When: Between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17
Where: Sky View Elementary School, 8624 W. Sweetwater Ave.
The Peoria Unified School District is inviting individuals who are passionate about supporting student success to attend a support staff job fair any time between 4:30 and 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17 at Sky View Elementary School, 8624 W. Sweetwater Ave.
Open positions include bus drivers, instructional assistants, food and nutrition workers, maintenance staff and more.
At the support staff job fair, interviews will be conducted on-site and attendees will tour the campus, a school bus and the kitchen, allowing individuals to envision themselves in their role. Peoria Unified’s human resources team will be at the event to assist with any questions.
When asked why she chose to work in Peoria Unified, Christina Garcia, an instructional assistant from Peoria Elementary School, shared the following, “I love everyone I work with; they are all supportive and caring. I love coming to work every day because of the kids and being able to help them learn. Working at Peoria Elementary has made me the person I am today, and I will always go above and beyond to help all my co-workers and students whenever they need my support.”
