The latest plans for the Murphy Park portion of the upcoming $82 million Downtown Campus Reinvestment Project in Glendale will be the focus at a public forum.

Two weeks ago a similar forum focused on the City Hall portion of the downtown project. The next forum open to the public will showcase schematics and details on renovating Murphy Park during the renovation.

The forum will go from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 29. As was the case with the previous forum, this one will take place simultaneously at three locations across the city: Glendale City Council Chambers, 5850 W. Glendale Ave.; Heroes Park Library, 6075 N. 83rd Ave.; and Foothills Recreation Center, 5600 W. Union Hills Drive.

Residents can also watch on the city’s Facebook and YouTube pages.

The Downtown Campus Reinvestment Project is in the early planning stages and is expected to be completed by the spring of 2025. This project encompasses the revitalization of City Hall, the parking structure as well as Murphy Park and its amphitheater.

The Glendale City Hall campus was originally built in 1984.
