National Academy Foundation honors Mountain Ridge student

The National Academy Foundation Advisory Board for Mountain Ridge High School, 22800 N. 67th Ave., Glendale, announced that Catherine Horton is the recipient of a $1,500 scholarship.

The advisory board raises funds during the year to honor graduating seniors in the Academy of Entrepreneurship at Mountain Ridge.

Mountain Ridge had several students finish in the top 50 nationwide for the Stock Market Game, including Aval Daryani, Albin Albin Arulanandu and Suraj Elango.
