Darryl Leung, an incoming senior at Mountain Ridge High School, 22800 N. 67th Ave., Glendale, was selected as a member of the 2020 National Association for Music Education All-National Concert Band for Alto Saxophone 1.
This is Darryl’s second year being selected for this prestigious ensemble.
Darryl is also part of the school’s Saxophone Quartet, along with students Sean Collins, Tony Ruan and Maxim Strong, who will be representing Mountain Ridge after gaining acceptance to perform at the 74th Annual Midwest Clinic in Chicago, from Dec. 16-19.
