Been too busy or missed your mammogram screening due to COVID-19? Please take this opportunity.

Kristi’s Klimbers Foundation is hosting mammogram screenings sponsored for uninsured and underinsured women 8 a.m.-3 p.m,, Nov. 6, at the Peoria Community Center, 8335 W. Jefferson Street.

The event is made possible thanks to a grant from Albertsons, Safeway, Vons- Southwest Division.

The event offers 3D, full-field digital mammography and CAD computerized readings.

Early detection saves lives and protects against breast cancer.

To schedule an appointment, please call: 480-967-3767 or 800-285-0272. Organizers will confirm insurance acceptance at the time you call to make your appointment. They will verify insurance benefits and inform attendees if there are any charges.

All women are encouraged to attend. Mobile On-site Mammography accepts a wide variety of health plans.

Medicare patients welcome. Most major insurance carriers are accepted: Aetna, BCBS, CIGNA, Health Net, UnitedHealthcare, and many more. Non-insured patients pay $0.

Patients under age 35 must provide a doctor’s referral.
