Christmas parade marches through downtown Glendale for 7th straight year

Glendale's Hometown Christmas parade has become a community event. In its seventh year, the parade route is the same, starting at 52nd Avenue and finishing at 58th Drive headed west on Glendale Avenue. Donations of nonperishable food, new toys and clothing went to help Operation Santa Claus and Hope for Hunger, a Glendale-based food bank.

Great turnout — Dave Campbell

Best parade ever. — Ray Watkins

We loved it — Karen Arcadia

Great parade today. Watch the video. I saw an Unger, a Shiffer and a Smith plus glimpse of others. — AZ Troop 747

Just in case you missed it! Watch for the skirts of the little pink elves from the Catlin Court Wagon Brigade. It was a great day in Historic Downtown Glendale. —  Papa Ed’s Ice Cream
