Blake Shelton headlines effort to support Treasure House

A pre-Super Bowl party raised $750,000 for Treasure House in Glendale.

Pro Football Hall of Famer Kurt Warner and his wife Brenda hosted Smoke and Strings, a star-studded Super Bowl 57 pre-party at their home, which raised more than $750,000 for Treasure House.

More than 300 guests were treated to an intimate concert under the stars featuring a special performance by Blake Shelton, Grammy-nominated country music superstar. Gwen Stefani and Kane Brown made impromptu appearances on stage.

Proceeds from VIP and premier tickets, which ranged from $4,000 to $10,000 for individuals and couples, benefited Treasure House, an active living community for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The Warners founded the Glendale nonprofit at 7815 W. Aspera Blvd. in 2018, with inspiration from their son Zack Warner, to provide people with disabilities the same opportunity as all others to lead successful and fulfilling lives.

Proceeds from the evening supported Treasure House's Growing Home campaign, a vision led by CEO Lauri Tanner, to replicate the distinct model across the nation.

“Many guests at Smoke and Strings were exposed to Treasure House for the first time and were greatly moved to learn how the nonprofit empowers and inspires its residents to lead their best lives. People had tears in their eyes,” Tanner shared in a statement.

The nonprofit is currently at full capacity with 29 residents, ages 18 to 45.
