Journey, along with Toto, announces Glendale tour stop

Tickets go on sale to general public this Friday

Posted

Classic rock fans will delight in a tour stop that will bring Journey and Toto to Glendale next spring.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame band that has sold nearly 100 million albums around the world will play Gila River Arena, 9400 W. Maryland Ave., at 7:30 p.m. on April 9. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 19.

Journey will take the stage in 40 cities across North America with their catalog of hits, including “Don’t Stop Believin,” “Any Way You Want It,” “Faithfully,” “Lights” and more. The tour comes after the band previously announced a brand new six-show Las Vegas residency, running in December at the Theater at Virgin Hotels.

Presented by AEG Presents, the Freedom Tour 2022 begins in February in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and will make stops in Los Angeles, Dallas, Nashville and more before wrapping May 11 in Hartford, Connecticut.

Rock and Roll icon Billy Idol will join Journey on all dates from Feb. 22 through April 5. Toto, who have collectively streamed more than 3.3 billion plays on Spotify alone, will join Journey on all remaining dates beginning in San Diego on April 7, including the April 9 show in Glendale.

Citi cardmembers have access to presale tickets for U.S. dates now through 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 18 before ticket sales open up to the general public. Visit citientertainment.com.
