Huge high school hoops event to tip off in Glendale

State Farm Stadium plays host to annual Section 7 Tournament

The biggest stage for high school basketball teams to strut their stuff in front of college coaches returns to Glendale this week.

The Section 7 Tournament welcomes 229 teams from across the western U.S., on 12 courts and with more than 500 college coaches in attendance when the camp tips off at 4:45 p.m. Thursday, June 16 at State Farm Stadium, 1 Cardinals Drive.

SCHEDULE:

  • 4:45 p.m. Thursday, June 16
  • 8 a.m. Friday, June 17
  • 8 a.m. Saturday, June 18
  • 8 a.m. Sunday, June 19

Attendance is free, which gives residents the opportunity to watch the best high school basketball teams in the west perform.

A reminder that State Farm Stadium has transitioned to a cashless transaction stadium to ensure contactless options for parking, food, beverage and merchandise purchases.
