Horse-drawn carriage added to West Valley holiday festival

Desert Farm Lights outside Surprise is back for 4th year

The ever-popular walkable holiday event Desert Farm Lights is just weeks away from opening for its fourth year — but this time a horse-drawn wagon through a glowing orchard is joining the farmgrounds near Surprise.

The carriage ride is just one of several new features for the now annual celebration at Justice Brothers Ranch, 14629 W. Peoria Ave., just south of the Surprise city limits.

The outdoor holiday festival will run each night, starting Friday, Nov. 21 and run through Sunday, Dec. 28. The grounds will be open from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and until 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
