Goldwater High student-run restaurant open for dinners in 2019-20

Avenue 27, the student-run fine dining restaurant at Barry Goldwater High School, 2820 W. Rose Garden Lane, within Deer Valley Unified School District, has announced its dining experience dates for the 2019-20 school year.
Avenue 27 is dedicated to serving high quality, thoughtfully crafted food in an upscale yet comfortable atmosphere. Guests are invited to experience the restaurant’s a la carte dining experience on 4:30-7 p.m. Friday nights, or for one of its special nights, such as “A Night in Barcelona – Spanish inspired tapas” for a unique tasting menu experience.
Avenue 27 will be open on the following dates during the 2019-20 school year:
Oct. 11 and 25
Nov. 8 and 22
Dec. 20
Jan. 10 and 31
Feb. 14 and 28
March 13 and 27
April 3 and 24
May 8
As a part of the CTE Culinary Arts program on campus, students are able to participate in the restaurant management program. The program trains students in all aspects of managing and running a restaurant all while gaining a true work-based learning experience in the restaurant.
