Glendale will open newest city splash pad Memorial Day Weekend

A new splash pad will open in Glendale on Memorial Day weekend.

The new amenity at Sunset Palms Park, 5420 W. Sweetwater Ave., will open Saturday, May 27.

All city splash pads will be open 11 a.m.-7 p.m. seven days a week from Memorial Day weekend through July 31.

Then from July 31 through Labor Day weekend, they will still be open from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. but only on weekends.

The city’s other splash pads are located at Heroes Regional Park, at 6101 N. 83rd Ave., and at O’Neil Park, 6448 W. Missouri Ave.
