Glendale student wins college leadership award

Central College (Iowa) Student Development recognizes outstanding leadership at the college each year and has named its 2020-21 award winners.

Aiyana Rouse, of Glendale, received the Annual Theme Award. She attended Ironwood High School, 6051 W. Sweetwater Ave.

This award recognizes a student volunteer or recognized student organization who has demonstrated outstanding leadership in promoting and implementing the college’s annual theme.

The 2020-21 theme is diversity and inclusion.

Central College of Pella, Iowa, is a private, four-year liberal arts college.
