Posted

Sierra Verde Elementary School, 7241 W. Rose Garden Lane, Glendale, will host an outdoor celebration for Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year.

Activities include a beekeeper demonstration and honey display, holiday craft and activities, a Shofar workshop, and Challah Baking. The event begins at 10 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 5.

“What better way to learn and prepare for the New Year, than through the hands-on experience,” Rabbi Lew, Director of Chabad of the West Valley, stated in a news release. “Come see, hear, taste, smell and touch the holiday traditions through fun and inviting activities.”

Cost is $18 per family.

RSVP by email at office@ichabad.org or by calling 623-252-1759.
