Glendale Rotary honors Cerreta Candy Co.

The Glendale Rotary Club has awarded the Cerreta Candy Co. its Business of the Quarter award.

For more than 50 years, Cerreta Candy has been satisfying the sweet tooth of not only Glendale, but beyond.

Founded in Canton, Ohio, by Jim Cerreta, today Jerry Cerreta and his son Tony manage the company, with many of the Cerreta family assisting. Located at 5345 W. Glendale Ave., the Cerreta Candy Co. also offers a mail-order and Grubhub business.

Its website offers highlights of their factory pizza- and candy-making tours, and it’s not unusual to see a class from a local school inside, learning more about candy-making. Schedule tours for 10 or more by calling 623-930-9000.

Glendale Rotary, one of the oldest Rotary clubs in the Valley, invites residents to be a guest at its online meeting at noon on Thursdays. Email nancygermond@gmail.com for details.
