Glendale Rotary Club hosts rummage sale to benefit West Valley nonprofits

Glendale West Rotary Club is looking for vendors to participate in the club’s first-ever rummage sale to benefit local charities and nonprofit organizations.
The event – open to residents, businesses and charitable groups – is 7 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at Raymond Kellis High School, 8990 W. Orangewood Ave., Glendale.
Residents, area businesses, charitable organizations and other Rotary clubs are invited to purchase booth space to sell items. Shopping is open to the general public.
A fee of $25 per space will be charged to those wishing to reserve a spot at the sale. Each booth space is roughly the size of three automobile parking spaces.
Revenue generated from booth sales will be shared with charitable organizations at the event and used by the Glendale West Rotary Club to fund local service projects.
All vendors are required to bring their own supplies, including table, chairs and shade covers.
“This is our way of supporting local nonprofits to strengthen our community,” said Angel Aguirre, president of the Glendale West Rotary Club.
For information on reserving a space, email glendalewestrotaryclub@gmail.com.
