Glendale restricting public access to City Hall due to coronavirus

Posted

Beginning this week, the city of Glendale is temporarily restricing public access to City Hall, 5850 W. Glendale Ave. due to the coronavirus pandemic. This will help the city effectively allocate resources, while also allowing residents to access services remotely.

In accordance with Centers for Disease Control guidelines, Glendale has been regularly sanitizing and disinfecting all the common areas of City Hall, including restrooms, door handles, banisters, kiosks, service windows, elevators and counters. These preventative measures have required a constant supply of Personal Protective Equipment and disinfectant products.

As the city prepares for an extended effort to stop the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), we are moving now to preserve the city’s supply of PPE’s and disinfectant. Those resources will be allocated to public-safety first responders and other critical service areas.

Residents can still access city services over the phone at (623) 930-2000, on-line at glendaleaz.com or at glendaleone.com. We appreciate the public’s support and patience as we take this important step.
