Glendale’s new splash pad is set to open this weekend, which is perfect since the National Weather Service is forecasting a high of 102 degrees on Saturday.

O’Neil Park, at 6448 W. Missouri Ave., will open its brand-new splash pad on Saturday, May 29.

The 3,400-square-foot splash pad includes two luna cannons, an aqua dome, water tunnel, water bucket, twinsplash, spineroo and more. The splash pad is free and offers children a chance to socialize, learn new ways to play, express individuality, role play and develop motor skills.

The pad is open daily 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
