Glendale police are looking for a person of interest relating to the homicide of Navy veteran Quevon “Kash” Roland earlier this year.

Mr. Roland, of Phoenix, sustained multiple gunshot wounds just after 2 a.m. on Sept. 23 near 6600 N. 43rd Ave. The 31-year-old victim was found in a parking lot.

Officers attempted life saving efforts, and Mr. Roland was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died in the hospital on Sept. 25.

Homicide detectives took over the investigation, which is ongoing at this time.

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in locating 37-year-old Florian J. Culp, who police are calling a person of interest in this case.

Mr. Culp is described as approximately 6 feet tall and 220 pounds. He was one of the last people seen with the victim prior to the shooting.

Anyone with information to his whereabouts is asked to contact Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO, or the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-3000.
