Glendale man shoots at vehicle in hotel parking lot

Police arrested a man on suspicion of firing multiple rounds at a vehicle in the parking lot of a hotel.

Connor Price, 26, faces charges of discharging a firearm in city limits and prohibited possession.

Around 10 p.m. Monday, Mr. Price was trying to force a driver out of their vehicle while at a hotel north of Peoria Avenue and Interstate 17.

Police said Mr. Price had originally been trespassed from the hotel earlier in the day, but came back and encountered a guard in the parking lot. Mr. Price allegedly pulled out a firearm but did not point it at the guard.

Instead, Mr. Price walked up to the passenger side of a vehicle and pointed the firearm at the window. He then ran around and tried to remove the driver.

However, the vehicle sped off, with Mr. Price firing four to five rounds at it.

Mr. Price left the scene before police arrived. However, police obtained information leading them to Mr. Price’s last known address in Glendale.

On Tuesday, police followed a pickup truck from Mr. Price’s home to a Walmart parking lot near 55th and Northern avenues.

There, police arrested Mr. Price without incident.

He was jailed in lieu of a $25,000 bond with court dates Oct. 23 and 25.
