Tuesday's meeting was scheduled to be one of about a dozen during the first half of 2020 for Council to work with city staff to set a budget for the 2020-21 fiscal year, which begins July 1.
Glendale has not canceled all meetings. It held a non-budgetary Council workshop and voting meeting last Tuesday in the Glendale Civic Center, with Council members and staff spaced out by sitting each to their own table. Some Council members were present while others called in. The Glendale Planning Commission's meeting this Thursday is still scheduled.
